Toddler Friendly Christmas Tree

With a toddler in tow, I’ve been hesitating to put up the Christmas tree. I could just imagine that naughty little boy getting a hold of those glittery trimmings and putting them into his mouth. Yikes!

It’s getting closer to Christmas though and I didn’t want to be left out on the spirit so I had to put the tree up. Good news is, I was able to find a way to make the tree still look good sans the glittery stuffs. I used toys to do the trick! I found some Christmas themed stuff toys, well, they were actually door hangers, but they look so cute! When I couldn’t find enough, I just used bright colored toys like Mickey Mouse and Angry Birds to decorate. They certainly make my tree look fun and happy. Best of all, it’s child friendly too!

Looking for Christmas Giveaways?

I recently finished designing a label for a pastries shop. They will be launching their product (Food for the Gods) in time for the Christmas Season. I figured I’d share it with you guys in case you’d want to place your orders already and avoid the Christmas rush. It’s 84 days till Christmas, by the way.

Merry Snowman

I bought the snowman ornament at a post Christmas sale at Macy’s in San Francisco early this year. While looking at the names, I was tempted to get either a Caitlin or a Chase for a future little one. That time actually, we did have a hunch that a baby might already be along the way. For fear of jinxing it though, I just settled for my name. Looking back, getting that Chase would have been just fine. =) Merry merry Christmas everyone!
